Scott earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois, in 1978.
Scott began his career in financial services as a licensed insurance professional because he saw a way to make an impact on people’s lives by helping them plan for a successful retirement. “I saw how proper planning made a major difference in the security of our financial future, and I wanted to help others to do the same.” Scott holds a Series 65 securities license and serves as a financial advisor with fiduciary responsibility.
Scott is also a member of the National Ethics Association. He provides a truly unique, holistic approach to our clients’ financial plans. Scott works tirelessly to ensure our clients’ retirement plans, including Income from assets, Social Security, and pensions are coordinated properly with a goal of their retirement income lasting a lifetime.
Since 1986, Scott has also served on the Board of Directors for H.C.L. Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a purpose to educate patients and physicians and to raise funds for research and treatment for Hairy Cell Leukemia.
Scott and his wife Kim have been active members of Life Changers International Church since 1997. In his free time he enjoys fishing, boating, and flying. They reside in Elgin, Illinois, and have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, Christy and Bethany, a terrific son-in-law, and two beautiful granddaughters.
